Chill Dude A/C and Heating promptly called me when I requested repair for my furnace. They were able to come out that afternoon. The technician (Ezequiel) was very professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about the issue with my furnace. He diagnosed it quickly and sent in an order for the part. He picked up the part the next morning and came to my residence at 9:30 AM. He installed the part within 45 minutes. I have used this company for many years and will go nowhere else. Their prices are very reasonable and their work ethics and integrity are next to none. You know that you are being treated fairly and not taken to the cleaners like some companies do.

Our exterior AC unit went out, so we called The Chill Dude for an emergency service call. Our tech, Alfonso, arrived within 5 minutes of the specified time and got to work. He was able to diagnose and repair the problem quickly and get us back online in the thick of the summer. Some finer points:

• Professionalism - Alfonso didn't take it for granted that we would trust his expertise. He documented his findings and explained to us what each of them meant, what they implied about the state of our unit, and possible future problems caused by the issue that was to be fixed. He also presented multiple estimates on the spot for work to head off those future problems.

• Honesty - he pointed out that one of the preventative measures quoted could actually be done easily by us with no assistance from them, and instructed us on how to do it. He clearly valued giving us the whole picture and letting us decide whether to save money or save time and effort.

• Diligence - even after the problem was identified and fixed, he ran a battery of tests on our unit and the rest of our AC system to help us know how the system as a whole was doing, and whether or not we needed to rush to replace the exterior unit. Rather than pressuring us to immediately replace everything, he presented us with a range of suggestions based on the duration of our expected stay in this house, our desire to save money, and the pending discontinuation of parts support for our external unit. Again, he was interested in helping us make the best decision rather than pressuring us into something.

• Courtesy - Alfonso was polite and clearly-spoken the entirety of the visit. No "always right" attitude, no pretending he knew everything when he didn't, and most importantly no BS. (Also he didn't bat an eyelash when I opened the door wearing swim trunks because it was hot as hell in my house.)

We can't really recommend The Chill Dude enough; we felt we got more than what we paid for in a simple service call. Please use this company.
