I left my last appointment (child 8 weeks old) here in tears and feeling like the worst parent.
Really, if Dr. Hamilton expects xyz, she should be giving out guides.

I mentioned sleeping had gone from 2-3 hour naps to 30-40 mins. I also mentioned she's been pawing at her face. She had the audacity while examining my child to tell her, 'you're a big girl, you need to take longer naps.' Guess what? She's TEETHING. These are signs of teething and it took me a week later to figure it out ON MY OWN. Instead, I had my child (and myself) guilted over it.

She insisted that we make her take a pacifier even though we've tried. She asked if we're reading to her as well. More guilt when I said only to my older child with her present. Also said I should be working out (at home) while she's napping instead of taking her with me into the garage. She has an opinion on everything, even though you don't ask.

I know she's a mom herself... but really, I'm okay, and the baby is okay. Is that not enough for you? I really only need a pediatrician for their immunizations and a diagnosis if something is wrong. I've switched pediatricians for both my children.

Just spoke with Dr. Hamilton staff. I wanted to make sure I could control my newborns vaccine schedule due to my husband having a bad reaction when he was a baby. We want to fully vaccinate but we only wanted one shot at a time. First the receptionist told me she goes by the CDC schedule. Then she told me the Dr said a minimum of 2 shots per visit.....I'm the parent....I'm paying the copays.....I'm not a crazy anti vac person I just wanted a slower schedule so if there was a bad reaction we would know which one caused it. She refused. Not going to be using a doctor who won't go with what the parents are comfortable with. Sorry not sorry.

I’m glad I switched my children’s pediatrician to Dr. Hamilton, she takes her time with them and very detail oriented. The staff is also friendly and caring.

Dr Hamilton has been our son's physician from the beginning. He's now in college. We couldn't be happier about the care we've received with Dr. Hamilton.
